MAMA HOPE’S "ROSES FOR HOPE" MOTHER’S DAY OUTREACH CAMPAIGN!
With your help, our Roses of Hope Outreach
Campaign will not only spread love to the Mothers of your own
community, it will raise awareness to help support mothers in Sub
Saharan Africa.
There are over 34 MILLION orphans living in Sub-Saharan
Africa, and only a small percentage of mothers alive and well to tend
to their care! We feel mothers are a precious resource ask you to
help Mothers in Africa survive, and to spread awareness about the importance of Mothers and all that they do.
EVENT: Second Annual “Roses for Hope” rose giving campaign!
WHEN: 11:00 am Sunday May 9, 2010 (Mother's Day)
WHERE: Lafayette, Marin, Menlo Park, downtown San Francisco,
(in your own community), and across the U.S. and Globe!
WHAT: Mother/daughter pairs and other individuals will be handing
out fair trade roses to mothers passing by.
WHY:
To spread love to mothers in local communities and raise awareness
about mothers across the globe who need our help and support!
HOW? By joining the Mama Hope Roses for Hope Outreach Campaign on
Mother's Day, May 9th! This will entail:
- Donating 1-2 hours of your time on Mother's Day, May 9th.
- Purchasing a dozen roses (Mama Hope will send you a letter for tax write off)
- Printing and attaching Rose Cards (click here to download)
- Brightening 12 mother's days by surprising them with a rose from a stranger
- If you can not physically join us on Mothers Day, you can participate by
donating online to support Mothers in Africa.

Our vision is for people throughout the United States to participate in
"Roses For Hope!"
We hope that women who receive roses on Mother’s Day
will then honor
another mother, by going to the Mama Hope website and
donating to
support a mother in Africa. Last year,in the first Roses
of Hope Campaign,
over $5,000 was raised to support community health projects in Africa.

To participate in your own community, purchase a dozen roses and then click here to download your own rose cards to attach to your roses. Pass them out to women in your community, and honor another Mother.

to your loved ones. Mama Hope has
partnered with Organic Bouquet, who have
provided us with our very own fair trade
rose bouquet. A portion of the proceeds
from every bouquet purchased will go
directly to Mama Hope. You will not only
make someones day bright, but will help
give people in Africa a proper place
to live, learn, and grow!
